The SG21-3 is available with two proven powerplants. The primary configuration features the Cummins 6CTAA8.3-C215 turbocharged diesel engine, delivering 160 kW (215 hp) at 2,200 rpm with 980 N·m of maximum torque at 1,500 rpm. An alternative configuration pairs the machine with the Weichai WD10G220E21 engine, rated at 162 kW (217 hp) with a 9.726 L displacement.

Blade & Grading Performance:
The SG21-3 is equipped with a blade width of 3,660 / 3,965 / 4,270 mm (selectable), a blade height of 635 mm, and a blade cutting angle range of 44°–91° with 360° hydraulic rotation. Maximum cutting depth is 500 mm, and maximum lifting height is 410 mm. The machine achieves a maximum traction force of 90 kN and a gradeability of 20°, ensuring reliable performance on slopes and rough terrain.
