At its core is the Cat® C15 ACERT™ turbocharged diesel engine – a 15.2L, 6-cylinder powerplant delivering 352 kW (472 hp) of net power (ISO 9249) and 362 kW (485 hp) of gross power (ISO 14396). The engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final, EU Stage IV, and Korea Tier 4 Final emission standards.

The 374F L features the Cat® electrohydraulic system with the innovative Adaptive Control System (ACS) valve, which intelligently manages restrictions and flows to control machine motion, delivering smoother operation, greater efficiency, and up to 30% less fuel consumption compared to the standard 374D while maintaining the same high level of production. The main hydraulic system delivers 896 L/min maximum flow with equipment pressure up to 37,000 kPa and a swing torque of 215 kN·m.

The machine achieves a maximum digging depth of 7,220 mm and is available with multiple boom and stick configurations for versatile reach and depth capabilities. Its 650 mm track shoes and 2,750 mm track gauge ensure stability on tough terrain.
